What is Ashwagandha? Part 1

Ashwagandha can reduce stress, improve sleep quality and possibly have a positive effect on the hormonal system (especially testosterone) and athletic performance. Studies such as those by Bonilla et al. (2021) show that Ashwagandha increases strength, explosive power, endurance and regeneration. A randomized study by Wankhede (2015) shows significant increases in strength and muscle mass as well as an increase in testosterone. The regeneration time was also shortened.
